We started because we got tired of watching friends get overcharged on apartments, given the wrong bank, and miss their migration registration. So we just did it for them. Then word got out.
Why this exists.
In late 2021, three friends from MIT moved to Almaty in the same month. None of them had been before. By week two, two of them had been quoted apartments at twice the local rate, one had his bank card frozen because the bank didn't understand his passport country, and all three had quietly missed the 5-day migration registration deadline.
Kevin spent that week firefighting for them. By the end of it he had a system. Who to call at which bank, which neighborhoods to avoid, the exact clerk at the CON who'd move things along. The next month, two more friends asked. By February 2022, it was a business.
Three years and 240+ moves later, the system is still the same, just sharper. We work with founders cutting checks from Y Combinator, remote engineers tired of Bali, families with school-age kids, and the occasional digital nomad who decided Almaty hits different. The brief stays small: take the friction out, give a fixed quote, don't bullshit anyone.
Four things we don't bend on.
Local, not loud
Our operators were born here. We don't bring in foreigners to play local. You're working with people whose family has been in Almaty for three generations.
Fixed quotes
Whatever we quote, that's what you pay. No "oh actually that's an add-on" mid-project. If scope grows, we tell you before we start.
One thread
You get a single Telegram chat with one operator. Not a ticket queue, not a forwarded email chain. The person who scoped your move is the person solving your plumber problem.
We say no
If you want a luxury flat for backpacker money, we'll tell you it doesn't exist. We'd rather lose a client at the brief than disappoint them at the keys.

Ex-Big Four auditor. Knows tax codes, lease law, and exactly which clerk at which CON to ask for. Runs our visa, registration, and business setup workflows.
Native Almatinets, former real estate agent who got tired of the bait-and-switch listings. Sees about 80 units a month so you don't have to see any bad ones.
Speaks five languages including Turkish and Mandarin. Handles the catch-all: schools, doctors, gifts, weekend ski trips, the dentist who'll see you tomorrow.
